Living on Satoyama Street

Live with life and feel the change of the seasons. Walking along Satoyama-dori, residents can enjoy nature in each of the four seasons: flowers in spring, cool shade of green, autumn leaves, and groves in winter. It was our goal to create such a natural space in the residence. The planting plan is based on the greenery of the mountains, with a variety of green colors woven into the landscape. The plantings contrast with the horizontal lines of the building, vertical grids, and wall eyestop to accentuate the natural light, shadows, and greenery. We use only small rocks and darts as much as possible so that the passage of time will create a mossy garden, which becomes calm, tranquil and emotional.
